Q1 – What does ACMI mean?

ACMI stands for Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance. When an aircraft is leased on an ACMI contract, the lessor (Eaglexpress) provides all of the above criteria.

Q4 – Where does Eaglexpress fly?
Eaglexpress operates in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The company is not a scheduled airline. This means Eaglexpress does not sell tickets directly to travelling Pilgrims. Instead, Eaglexpress leases aircraft to other carriers that require more capacity.  Eaglexpress’ flight operations are based in Jeddah, KSA, providing aircraft on a wet lease basis to Saudia Airlines & FlyNas.

Q5 – What is a wet lease?
A wet lease means that an operator leases an aircraft to another carrier providing an aircraft with a complete crew. The aircraft operates under the AOC (Air Operators Certificate) of the lessor (Eaglexpress).
